Question 1

What is Momentum?

Accepted Answer

Momentum is a SaaS platform that automates the operational layer of running a subscription business — recurring billing, self-serve user onboarding, failed payment recovery, and plan management. You set it up once and it runs without manual intervention.

Question 2

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Free plan gives you full access to the core platform with no credit card required. Upgrade to Pro when you need advanced automation, priority support, and higher usage limits.

Question 3

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Most businesses are fully configured in under 30 minutes. There's no code to write — connect your billing provider, configure your plan tiers, and the automation runs from day one.

Question 4

Do I need technical skills to use Momentum?

Accepted Answer

No. Momentum is built for founders and operators, not engineers. The dashboard is self-serve and all automation is configured through the UI.

Question 5

What's included in the Pro plan?

Accepted Answer

Pro ($49/mo) includes unlimited billing automation flows, advanced dunning sequences, upgrade/downgrade automation, priority email support, and team member access.

Question 6

What's the Enterprise plan?

Accepted Answer

Enterprise ($199/mo) is built for teams with complex needs: custom billing logic, dedicated onboarding, SLA guarantees, SSO, and white-glove support. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Question 7

Can I change plans at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Question 8

Is there an annual billing option?

Accepted Answer

Annual billing is available on Pro and Enterprise — you get 2 months free. Contact us to switch.

Question 9

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro. If you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund.

Question 10

How does the billing automation work?

Accepted Answer

Momentum connects to your Stripe account and listens for billing events. When a payment fails, a trial expires, or a user upgrades, the right action fires automatically — emails send, access changes, retries run. No webhooks to manage, no Zapier to maintain.

Question 11

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use SOC 2-aligned infrastructure, and your billing data never leaves your Stripe account — Momentum only reads events, it doesn't store card data.

Question 12

What payment processors do you support?

Accepted Answer

Momentum currently supports Stripe. Additional processor support is on the roadmap.

Question 13

Can I use Momentum for multiple products or businesses?

Accepted Answer

Pro supports a single workspace. Enterprise supports multiple workspaces and team members. Contact us if you have multi-product needs.

Question 14

How does failed payment recovery work?

Accepted Answer

When a charge fails, Momentum automatically retries on a smart schedule (day 1, 3, 7, 14) and sends personalized recovery emails at each stage. On average, businesses recover 60–80% of failed payments with automated dunning vs. 20–30% with manual follow-up.

Question 15

How do I get support?

Accepted Answer

Free and Pro users get email support at team@momentum-2ga.madethis.app. Enterprise users get a dedicated Slack channel and SLA-backed response times.
